About me

Hello, my name is Ruperto Fabito, Jr., but most people call me by JR and I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Currently, I'm employed full-time as a Senior Interactive Designer/Developer at RED Interactive Agency in Santa Monica, CA where I work with some very talented people in interactive advertising. At RED, I am directly involved with creating unique interactive experiences and digital marketing campaigns for clients such as THQ, CNN, Honda, Toyota, Warner Brothers, Sony, FOX, Universal Pictures, and Zuffa. Also at RED, I've worked on projects for advertising agencies like Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, Crispin Porter & Bogusky, Saatchi & Saatchi, and Rubin Postaer and Associates. I work in various aspects of digital design and new media, specializing in interactive design, user-interface design, graphic design, motion, Flash development, and front-end web development. In my experience, I've freelanced extensively and worked as a designer for CNET networks. I graduated cum laude from the MFA Computer Arts New Media program at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and received my bachelor's degree in design from San Jose State University.
